Ultra-Fast Wicking Base Layer

Cotton holds perspiration and moisture next to the skin where it can feel clammy, cold and uncomfortable. Drybase is the high wicking underwear system for drysuit diving from Fourth Element. Using ultra fast wicking fabric, the Drybase garments are the ideal alternative to cotton underneath a thinsulate or other undersuit. The garments' exceptional wicking performance means that the skin is kept dry and the wearer is much more comfortable during and after the dive, and is able to get the most out for the performance of their undersuit.

Thermal Base Layer

The Xerotherm is the ultimate base layer for use under a drysuit. Made using Polartec® Powerstretch® which was originally developed for NASA, the Xerotherm traps a layer of air - a much better insulator than water - next to the skin, keeping the wearer drier and more comfortable.

The unisex range is designed to be worn under another undersuit or on its own under a neoprene drysuit, it provides astonishing warmth without contributing to bulk or buoyancy.

Extreme Performance Undersuit

The Arctic's two layers of high insulation, low bulk fabric, ensure exceptional levels of thermal protection. Constructed with comfort and utility in mind, the minimalist design provides outstanding performance under closer fitting neoprene drysuits.

In a layering system, the Arctic is also suited for use underneath membrane and trilaminate suits.

The Ultimate Undersuit

The SubX thermal undersuit has been developed for use with membrane and trilaminate drysuits, and all independent testers have rated it as the warmest undersuit they have tried. Windproof and waterproof, the undersuit consists of a jacket and salopette or 'farmer john' giving maximum protection to the body core. The SubX will also continue to provide thermal protection if it becomes wet, either by a leak or more fundamental suit failure of the drysuit. This is an undersuit designed for extreme diving conditions and has been tested in temperatures of -2°(29F).

Outer Layer System for Arctic / Xerotherm / Drybase

The Ozone outer layer complements the Arctic, Xerotherm and Drybase as part of a complete thermal protection system. Windproof and waterproof, the Ozone layer is designed to be worn over the Arctic and/or Xerotherm to provide additional warmth, and to provide weather protection before and between dives. The soft shell outer fabric has been developed to maximise warmth for very little additional bulk and the system of vents ensures management of air within the drysuit is not hindered by the undergarments.

Advanced Diving Wetsuit

Developed using a combination of superstretch and thermocore neoprene, the Proteus scuba diving wetsuit offers surprising thermal protection and comfort during a dive. Incorporating the unique hydrolock (patent pending) neck seal and long glideskin seals at the wrists and ankles, the Proteus wetsuit eliminates almost all water ingress and is rated the warmest diving wetsuit in its class by Sport Diver Magazine.

Available in 3mm, 5mm and 7mm

Neutrally Buoyant Wetsuit

The Thermocline neutrally buoyant system represents an evolution in thermal protection, using state of the art materials to maximise performance without compromising on comfort. The Thermocline neutrally buoyant wetsuit system comprises the long sleeved top and the "explorer" giving the equivalent protection to a 3mm wetsuit but weighing less than 1kg (2.2 lbs). Thermocline also provides a real solution for people who suffer from neoprene allergies by eliminating contact between the skin and the wetsuit.

Ultra Smooth Rash Guards

Constructed from high grade lycra based fabric, the Hydroskin Rash Guards are designed to wear under a wetsuit or semi-dry suit or as a UV shield for other watersport activities.

The ultra smooth fabric reduces friction between the skin and a wetsuit, and helps to stop chafing of tight/ill-fitting suits.

A Revolution in Diving Footwear

The new Amphibian diving boots are set to redefine comfort in diving footwear.

The first diving boots in the world to feature ergonomic footbed insoles, they are designed for a diver who wants the ultimate in support and protection. A stable footbed and hardwearing moulded outsole make this ideal for regular shore diving.

3 & 5mm Stretch Neoprene

Both the 3mm gloves and the 5mm Gloves provide amazing warmth during a dive. The 3mm gloves give outstanding dexterity – ideal for photography and videography, whilst the 5mm gloves offer the warmth and comfort comparable only to thicker traditional gloves. Features include: stretch neoprene for fit and comfort, and a Thermoflex lining for warmth, sealed seams minimise water ingress, easy donning minimalist design, and a carbonite finish for grip and durability.
